Does Nausea With Irregular Periods Indicate Pregnancy?

I have had mild nausea for several months. I was late two weeks w my period, then had a very light period, and then another very light period a month later. My breasts are tender, but the pregnancy tests have been negative. I've also had frequent urination, Could I be pregnant? I have had unprotected sex.

Hello,
In the current scenario, you should get an assessment of the serum beta-hCG titres and a trans-vaginal sonogram along with a clinical evaluation by a specialist. If pregnancy is excluded, a complete hormone profile, blood counts and urinalysis need to be performed to identify the cause of this menstrual disturbance. Your symptoms can be related to very early pregnancy, but need substantial evidence in view of negative pregnancy tests and periodic spotting. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
