Hi. You are having hyperthyroidism. Start taking antithyroid drugs and better will be to take PTU in pregnancy, instead of Carbimazole. You can consult your treating gynecologist and you are a physician yourself. You will have to repeat thyroid profile after 4-6 weeks and get FT3, FT4 and TSH.Latest recommendation is to give PTU in early pregnancy as it does not cross placenta and carbimazole in later months. You will also have to get TRab at 26 - 28 weeks to see the risk of neonatal hyper thyroidism. Keep a regular follow up with your dr. and regular scans done. A well controlled thyroid diseasein pregnancy has a good maternal and fetal outcome.
Thanks.
