Does Mineral Water Help To Cure Frequent Urination Problem During Pregnancy?
I am 28 weeks pregnant... i have frequent urination.... My urine test shows that
pus cells : 8 - 10 and epi cells 20-25... hence i require your suggestion regarding this.... can i manage this problem by drinking mineral water? waiting 4 ur answer
frequent urination is an extremely common problem during pregnancy, and the primary reason for it at your stage in pregnancy is the pressure that the pregnancy places in the bladder. it is also true that your kidneys filter out waste at a slightly higher rate making more urine in pregnancy. however, drinking lots of fluid, including especially water is very important to prevent dehydration and provide enough fluid for your pregnancy. the mineral water will therefore help you and your pregnancy in many ways, but it will not solve the frequent urination. the results you mentioned from your urine were normal in pregnancy, as some white cells (pus cells) are very common in pregnancy and we are usually not concerned unless there is an infection and bacteria. I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any more questions.
