Does Laser Surgery Help Treat Skin Discoloration On The Feet?

I have a severe case of dark brown skin a couple of inches above my ankle All the way to my feet. In the previous post, you mentioned lasers as a possible fix for this. Is there any antidotal evidence get lighters will work to fix this problem? I haven’t worn a pair of shorts or dress In years and it would be thrilling to think that they might be help for this.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a kojic acid cream like Kojivit twice daily on affected skin.
3. Take a vitamin B12 supplement once daily for 3 months.
4. Other treatment options are topical hydroquinone and chemical peeling done by dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
