Does Lactose Intolerance Cause Stomach Cramps And Clay Coloured Stools?

My 19 year old daughter is complaining of stomach cramps and clay coloured stools!She is 5ft 3inches and around 9 stone! She frequently complains of intestinal disturbances. At about 3 months I had to change her formula milk from 'Milupa Milumil' to 'Wey Soy' formula! They thought she may have been lactose intolerant! She is also a vegetarian. I would be grateful for any help you can offer me. Charlotte

dear clay coloured stools can be seen in liver pathology like acute hepatitis, gallstones biliary obstruction etc..

lactose intolerance may cause undigested lactose can reach large intestines utilised by intestinal flora cause bloating pain loose motions. lactose intolerance may cause variable colour of stools.
