Does It Imply That TSH Levels Normal If Periods Are Normal After Taking Thyroid Medicine?

six months before i undergone throid test. tsh level is one pint more than normal range. and faced menstrual problems . and i advice by physician to take tablets to cure thyroid. by that i had tablets about six months now menstrual are normal. is this indicates that my tsh level is normal????

Dear- thanks for using our system and will try to clarify your question. Hypothyroidism or low thyroid production can cause irregular menstrual periods but not necessary, when your period goes back to normal, your thyroid is normal too.You were very close to normal level, just one point above so it should go to normal with low dose of thyroid replacement.You need the blood test to check levels and adjust medication.
