Does Irregular Usage Of Contraceptive Pills Elevate The Chances Of Pregnancy?
hi.I was on depo and only had the shot once I took the shot on 4 December 2014.so last month I had some black blood that seemed like a period for two weeks I then went to the clinic for help and the doctor prescribed the ovral low dose birth control pills.(the bleeding started on the 5th of June and I went to the clinic on the 17th of June) I started taking the pills from the 17th till 26 June to stop the bleeding I then skipped two pills in a row and had unprotected sex the 2nd day after missing the pills and from there I discontinued to take the pills so I wanted to know if there is a chance I could be pregnant?
You have been taking the pills irregularly so there is increased risk of being pregnant. Please do a pregnancy home test at least 5 days of delayed period.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
