Does losing your virginity delay your period? I m 17 years old (female) and I had sex for the first time. We used a condom, I should be getting my period in about a week. I just don t want to freak out when I don t get my period. So, I m wondering, because it was my first time, could my body delay my period?I have test the preganct test in a medicine shopand it was negative but i have doubt. Can you please tell me about this?

Hello.
I have gone through your complaint and understand your concern.
Yes it is a common occurrence for delaying of menses post intercourse. this is due to the hormones produced because of sexual arousal. As you have used contraception there is no need to worry a lot about delayed in menses.

You may even find white discharge post sexual intercourse which is nothing to worry about. This is just vaginal discharge which watery and white in nature. alternatively it can be cervical mucous which is your monthly white discharge
