Does Intake Of Oosure Tablets Cause Weight Gain?

hi doctor, i am from dubai . me and husband are working personnel. i have pcod. and my age is 30 , now iam taking tab oosure ,i consult a doctor he prescribe me this tab.on 6/7/2014 i have started tab oosure.my question is after taking tab oosure it wiil cause weight gain, and how much time it wiil take me pregnant.

Hello,

I understand your concern. Oosure contains Myo-inositol. It is believed to help in inducing ovulation. It may produce nausea as a side effect and you may lose weight rather than gain weight with it.
As to how long to take it to become pregnant, there are no reliable studies. You doctor might have given you other medicines like Metformin in addition to oosure. Metformin has more scientific evidence to reduce Insulin Resistance which is the cause of PCOD. If you are overweight, you should reduce your weight, be relaxed and stress free and you have better chance of becoming pregnant soon.
