General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Yes, Primolut-N (norethisterone) is a drug used to stop menstrual bleeding.

Since you have noticed bleeding at the first day of the drug, I will suggest you stick to your physician prescription guidelines of 3 times daily until your period gets moribund.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Chibitam Obia
