Does Intake Of Loratdine And Cetirizine Hydrochloride Along With Prednisone Cause Heart Palpitation?
tHANKS - i AM ON MY 3RD DAY OF PREDNISONE FOR HIVES, MY DAUGHTER SAID IT WOULD BE OK TO TAKE A 120MG OF LORATADINE AND A10 MG OFCETIRIZINE HYDROCHLORIDE. i AM NOW EXPERIENCING A RACING HEART . i AM DUE TO TAKE MY LAST PREDNOSONE OF THE DAY BUT I AM A LITTLE AFRAID TO TAKE IT. aNY ADVICE?

Hello,
Let me tell you that apart from other reasons, increased heart rate may be caused by antihistaminics.
You should also know that maximum daily dose of loratadine is 10 mg dnd you are taking much more than that.
You are also taking cetrizine which is also an antihistaminic and that is why you are experiencing racing heart.
