Hi..
Can understand your concern..

As per your complain AUGMENTIN 1000 contains Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid which is an antibiotic and it is given to patients having bacterial infection as antibiotics acts only against bacteria and clavulanic acid is added to amoxicillin to boost up its action against bacteria which does not respond to amoxicillin alone..

Dizziness can occur as a side effect of the medicine although is not seen as a very common occurrence but can be observed..

In case if the dizziness is altering your daily schedule or it is accompanied with stomach upset, rashes, hives , vomiting or any other side effects you should consult your physician and get the medicine changed like you can be advised Clindamycin or cephalosporins or the dose can be reduced to Augmentin 625 or even less.

In case of dizziness avoid driving or operating any big machines as it can cause accidental injuries..

Hope your query is solved..
