Does Inhaling Smoke Of Marijuana Shows Positive In Drug Test?

i have a regular question about marijuana, I do not smoke never have, don t plan too. But I am going to school to become an EMT and next Tuesday we have a drug test. My bf and his brothers smoke in their room and the living room Im always locked in my room but a few times id go out there to get myself food or something and I try not to breathe but I need oxygen what are the odds of that crap coming up in my drug test and it becoming positive. I don t want to throw away my career because these knuckle heads cants stop

Hi,

It is very unlikely for you to test positive from passive inhalation of marijuana smoke, unless the exposure is really high. A decent sized room with good ventilation reduces your exposure. But still, try to avoid as much exposure as is possible for you. Although it is true that passive inhalation of marijuana smoke results in absorption of tetrahydrocannabinol in the body, if the exposure is less, hopefully the THC levels will not be high enough to cause a positive result.
