Does Inhaling Fumes From Silicone Cause Heart Problems And Scratchy Throat?

I work 8-12 hrs a day in a silicone department in a factory every day. My throat is very scratchy sounding and i am sick alot. Could this be from breathing the fumes from silicone all day and will it hurt me? I have problems with my heart, i have to take a heart once a day for the rest of my life can this smell make me worse?
