Does Immune System Fights Off Genital Warts?

hi i am a 19 yr old guy and i got genital hpv (genital warts) about a month or so ago. I have two questions: 1- i heard that your body's immune system usually fights off the infection in about 8 months-2 years is this true? 2- if i smoke weed or herbal incense every once in a while will it prolong my chances of getting rid of the virus?

hello,
thanks a lot for your query on HCM,
1. our body system does have the capability to fight against the warts but it will be a gradual and long time thing, during which there are a lot of chances of developing other features also..
better to go in for medical therapy for its cure...
if they are at a longer and late stage, and depending on site, surgical approach can also be tried...
2. yes, smoking not only decreases body immunity, but also increases chances of other diseases to develop
dont worry...
do visit your doctor and get treated accurately and meticulously..
things will go fine soon...
