I have had a Hypothyroid for approximately 18 years and it is very uncontrollable. In one year I have gone from 225mcg to 50mcg back to 150mcg. I have been exercising vigorously for over a year and have lost 85 pounds. However, seems when I have higher amounts of stress my thyroid is less active, despite the exercise. In addition in the past 3 days I have developed a very itchy spot on my neck from under my chin to the base of my neck on the left side only. Does this have anything to do with my thyroid? Also I have not felt "right" and unfocused.
Hello I just read your query and from what you have mentioned it appears that you have a skin rash due to contact dermatitis as you exercise and sweat. It is not related to your Thyroid gland.Try using an ointment which is Lobate GM topically. Keep the area clean and dry and avoid any jewelry around it. Hope you find my advice of some benefit.Good luck.
