i am 35years old and undergoing hypothyrodism treatment for last 1 and half years. I am taking Thyronorm 50mg daily. Now my TSH is within normal range i.e. 2.95, Can i plan for pregnancy ? My first child is 5 1/2 years old. Is hypothyroid affects my baby in pregnancy?
THERE MORE CHANCES OF CHROMOSOMAL PROBLEMS IN BABY AFTER 35 YEARS... WELL CONTROLLED HYPOTHYROIDISM HAS NOT ANY EFFECT ON BABY..BUT IF IT IS NOT CONTROLLED , THEN THERE IS INCREASED RISK OF ABORTION..
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE YOU PLAN PREGNANCY.. THANKS
