Does High BP Lead To Fatty Liver With Swelling In Hands And Legs?
my husband has been on chemo since Jan. 31 for pancreatic cancer in his lung he has now having a problems with high bp was wondering if this could cause him to get fatty liver , because his legs and hands swelled last week , that was new never had that before , Im going to talk with his dr. Tuesday about this , he is on a no salt diet from me what do you think ?
Hi Thank you for sharing with HCM I read your query and understand your concern I read carefully about your husband symptoms and those don't seems to be related to blood pressure or liver changes You have done well avoiding salt in the daily diet The swelling might be as a side effect of chemo so I don't see reason to worry too much Control blood pressure and use liquids (water) oftenly Wish you good health and fast recovery Feel free to contact me further questions or queries Regards Dr Drilona Kenga Cardiologist
