Does Headache And Nausea Post Injury Need Medical Attention?

I hit the left side of my head really hard, it s the bit below the temple and near the cheekbone. Now I kind of have a headache and feel a bit sick. When I hit it I went a bit deaf in my left ear and lost a bit of vision. I can see and hear now but should I go to the doctors and could this be a concussion?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, Welcome to HCM.
I understand your problem.
You have not mentioned when did you have the injury.
You have history of nausea, headache, transient loss of vision and hearing. This may be due concussion and needs medical attention. There is possibility of rupture of small blood vessels at the site of injury which may lead to development of hematoma gradually.
X-ray & CT scan of head needs to be done. It should not be ignored.
I would advise you to consult a doctor.
Hope this will be helpful.
Thanks for your question.
Take care.
