Welcome to health care magic.

1.The possible cause in the case could be Undescended testicles.
2.There are no difficulties with absence of the testis in regards of the functions and fertility issues.
3.The only problem lies with the Undescended testicles which need to search.
4.Ultrasound abdomen pelvis will help to search - could be any where from the inguinal canal to the pelvis.
5.Undescended testicles can cause complication unto malignancies are possible - so first get a scan done - if not found not an issue, if there is - then operative treatment is required. Good luck.

Hope i have answered your query,
