Does Having Milk And Ghee In 9th Month Result In Normal Delivery?

Does having milk and ghee in the ninth month help in normal delivery? I am 28 years old. I have ogained 14 kilos so far. I am 34 weeks pregnant and I am mother is insisting me to have milk and one spoon of ghee in it everyday to have a normal delivery.

Remember one thing that, if you are eating a well-balanced diet there is no need to unnecessarily add to your calorie count by drinking ghee.

If you do need extra calories it's best to get them by eating healthy, wholesome and balanced meals rather than increasing fat intake.

Also, having too much ghee can give you diarrhoea, leaving you feeling weak and nauseous. So do not follow this false belief. Just follow your doctor's advice.

Here are some advice to ensure a smooth delivery and to increase your chances of a normal vaginal birth.

Eat well-balanced meals.
Do some light exercises.
Get enough rest.
Go to all your antenatal doctor appointments on time.
