Does Having A Period Confirm That I Am Not Pregnant?
Hi I got married February 3rd 2013 and started taking cerazette pill as told to on the first day of my period all the way through till my next period was due.My period came on time and I was no longer with my husband as I got married in Pakistan and I stopped taking cerazette.I haven t been sexually active since my last period.Does the fact that I had a period mean I am definitely not pregnant?

From your history it seems that you are not pregnant.
To confirm pregnancy you can get a urine pregnancy test kit from a pharmacy and test it at home.
If it comes back negative I will be more sure that you are not pregnant.
If you want to confirm the urine test results, then you can go for Blood test to rule out pregnancy.
The confirmatory way to diagnose pregnancy is to see it on an Ultrasound and hear the baby's heart beat.

If you had your periods exactly the same way as you used to have in previous months,it confirms you are not pregnant.If there is any change in patteren of your periods like it remained for a day or two and bleeding was light,then pregnancy hasto be ruled out by other means like pregnancy test .
