Does Frequent Urination Mean Diabetes?

OK, so this might be me being paranoid but I'm worried I may have diabetes. My parents say I definitely don't have it and nobody in my family has it and they think its silly that im worrying. Anyway when I get up I pee and then I will pee at lunchtime and then when I get home from school I pee about 3 times in the evening. On weekends though I pee a lot more I pee about 8 times a day. Im not overweight, Im pretty average, dont exercise as much as I should and 16 years old. I havent got any other symptoms of diabetes just frequent peeing but is it because im drinking a lot? and ive heard you pee more if you think about and worry? Is this me just being paranoid or do you think Ive got diabetes?

Dear friend i can understand your concern
excess urination is a symptom of diabetes but associated with it there will be increased thirst ,weight loss and elevated blood sugar also.

Excess of water intake in cold season might also be one of the reasons for excessive urination

in some kind of urinary tact infections also you tend to get excess urination and there will be burning during passing urine.

At your age the chance of type 2 diabetes is very unlikely.
i suggest you to relax and enjoy your life.
there is nothing to worry about.
Hope I was able to help you.
If you have any further question feel free to write me back. I will be happy to help.
Take care.
Best Regards.
