Does Food Poisoning Cause Elevated Blood Pressure Levels?

can food poisoning raise blood pressure? Mine has gone up to 166 over 88 (normally it is very good) I m 86 and ate undercooked chicken. No fever, no vomiting yet but dark grey faeces, about eight bouts so far. should I call doctor or wait for it to subside - am drinking home made salt and sugar liquid to prevent dehydration.
