Does Fallopian Tube Cyst Removal Procedure Cause Elevated HCG Levels?
I had a cyst at the end of my fallopian tube removed. Two weeks later was my expected ovulation date. Two weeks after that I have had 3 home tests and one in a clinic (urine) postive for pregnancy. What are the chances this is a false positive? Could the cyst removal cause a temporary hcg surge resulting in false positives?
A positive pregnancy test cannot be falsely positive, you should exclude extrauterine pregnancy. An ultrasound is recommended.
