Does Faint Line On The HIV Finger Prick Test Strip Indicate Positive HIV?

Hi doc. I m having anxiety and I got back from a week of partying n started feeling tired, sore and my lymph nodes were swollen. Went to take HIV finger prick test and there was a red line and a very very faint line underneath. So she did it again and same results. I ve been active. Am I in trouble.

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Faint line appearance in HIV testing is generally inconclusive.
Kindly get your HIV status tested by two methods of the following - Tri-dot or ELISA or PCR.
If still in doubt, you need to repeat the tests again after 6 months.
