Does Exposure Black Mold Cause Chronic Cough And Fatigue?

My husband and I just found out that our home built 1 year ago has had a slow leak under the kitchen sink due to a plumbers error. We found out when water started to leak out under the kitchen island. When the sheet rock was removed they found the inside of the whole island was covered with black mold. The builder has a special team removing it. We,however, are concerned about the health implications for us. My husband has had a non-productive cough for the last 8 months that has been resistant to any antibiotics. I have had extreme unexplained fatigue. Do you think we need evaluation and if so, where do we go?
