Does Excessive Caffeine Cause Elevated Blood Pressure Levels?

I have high blood pressure and I am trying to limit my caffine, I usually have 3 or 4 cups of coffee in the morning and I have a large Diet Coke from McDonalds and I eat coffee nips all day so I bet I probably have at least 8 of them. Is that too much caffine that it would raise my blood pressure? I did call the Nestles coffe nip makers and they said there is 3.4 grams of caffine per nip.

Hi, I think caffeine can lead to spike in your blood pressure. The exact cause of this is not known, but I think you should avoid taking caffeine if you have a high blood pressure.
