Does Double Depression Disorder And Acute Anxiety Disorder Exist?
I have heard of depression disorder but never about double depression disorder. I am a little skeptical about the latter. Can you please confirm whether or not someone I know may have been given a misleading diagnosis and whether you are familiar with another related called condition named Acute anxiety disorder and a suggested treatment recommendation. If by double depression you are referring to coexisting depression and anxiety , then yes this can occur.
Depression and anxiety disorders often occur together.
The drugs that can be used to treat depression can also be used in anxiety as well. This is the class of drugs called SSRI.
Another aspect of treatment would be counselling.
