Does Discharge After Periods Indicate Ovulation?

I read online that after a period ends that most women will have a dry spell for a few days before having discharge and then ovulating. My period ended yesterday but I m already having discharge today, is it possible that i could be ovulating this early?

Hello there , thanks for writing to us!
It looks very unusual that ovulation can happen this soon. However, unless some information is provided regarding nature of discharge ( color, amount, odour, associated itching or burning sensation when passing urine) it is hard to comment on this. As long as your discharge is clear, odourless, slowly increasing in quantity to become more slimy, sticky and stretchable , it is related to ovulation. But if you notice Curdy, greenish and frothy, watery and milky white discharge and if there is any burning sensation when passing urine or itching in your private area, you must be aware that it is related to vaginal infection and calls for a clinical examination and treatment.
Hope this information has helped you a bit. Take care.
