Does Diluting Dolo-650 Everyday And Drinking It Have Adverse Effects?
My friend has been taking dolo650 on a daily basis by dissolving it in 1 Ltr of water.. she is been taking for almost 1 month now.. she is depressed for some personal issues in her life am scared that this might give her adverse effects. Could you please let me know what would be the side effects of having the tablet daily.. will it cause death.. should I take her to a counsellor
DOLO-650 (Paracetamol) is used in fever, headache, pain during menstruation, joint pain, body ache, dental pain and post operative pain. Generally it is a very safe and well-tolerated medicine for short term use.
However its side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. It can cause allergic reactions, itching, skin redness, shortness of breath, and swollen face.
If taken in high doses it can cause serious liver damage and death.
I advise her to be examined by a psychiatrist for further evaluation and appropriate treatment of depression.
Hope she would benefit more after consulting a psychiatrist.
