Does Diabetes Spread Through Blood?

hi, my mom is diabetic and accidently the blood test used syringe got pricked in my 4 yr old son. will he be infected ?my mum also take breast cancer , highblood pressure and diabetes medicine. pls answer I AM WORRIED .I washed his finger in running water as blood started to come out of my son s finger.

Hello,
There is absolutely no need o get worried about.This pinprick won't result in spread of either diabetes or any cancer or blood pressure to the child.
Such types of pin pricks can transfer only diseases like hepatitis B ,C and HIV.
Clean the wound and apply a local antibiotic ointment.
In case the finger swells,then he may need a course of antibiotics,other wise nothing else is to be done.
