Does Delayed Period Indicate Pregnancy After Switching Birth Control Pills?

Hi I switched my b/c month ago from Triquilar to Alesse. I just finished Alesse last Saturday. I m yet to get my period. May it be because I changed my birth control? I took a pregnancy test this morning, but it was negative. Is there still a chance I may be pregnant?
