General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
Injection of cortisone in joint is known to increase blood sugar levels in diabetic patients (It's a temporary effect , lasting for few days )- This in turn can increase excessive glomerular( kidney ) filtration rate & excessive urine production. Overfull bladder can get over flown to cause incontinence.
* Try to empty bladder more frequently, till the side effect goes. If this lasts for more than 15 days.. consult your diabetologist.
Thanks
