Does Cocaine Addiction Cause Difficulty Breathing, Increased Heart Rate And Painful Chest?

I have been a cocaine addict for about 2 years. about 8 months ago my chest began hurting after each use. I went to emergency and was given ecg, blood tests and various monitoring. everything was reported as normal. I continued to use, and the pains stuck around. 2 months after the first visit, near the end of a binge I experienced a sudden rush of heat/adrenaline to my chest, accompanied with pain and a very high pulse, and difficulty breathing. I was taken to emergency and monitored for 12 hours, with again all normal ok test results. I have been trying to get off, and am going to counsiling, however I still do use. these days the pain onset is quite quick, within 10/15 minutes, and lasts about 45 minutes. my heart rate usually goes to 120 bpms or around that, then settles to around 90 when the pain leaves, and eventually returns to about 55/60 by the next day. I always end up fine, but I constantly get these pains. is there any explanation for this? I am trying hard to get off the drug, but its very difficult. Im stepping up my meetings and giving control of my finances to my father until I really clean up, but id like to get an idea of whats going on with my chest/heart/mentality (ie am I imagining all this or is a problem growing that the doctors aren t seeing) thank you

Cannot say in your particular case but cocaine is often fatal due to its effects on the heart. It increases the demands on the heart, AND clamps off blood flow to it by spasm of the arteries in the wall of the heart. Bad. Will happen with each use. Won't happen if there is not use.
Remembering the DREAD associated with HEART PAIN and putting memories of it on top of each trigger for cocaine use should damp down the urges pretty fast.
