OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question. Clomid is clomiphene citrate which is a ovulation induction drug and increases the chances of conception
. It cannot stop you from getting pregnant.
Since you did not have proper flow of the periods and you are still having the spotting, you need to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined and investigated.
Pregnancy needs to be ruled out. If not pregnant and no local lesions are found, then you need to be given progesterone support in the form of capsules.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
Regards,
Dr Deepti verma
