Hi,

Implanon implant contains progesterone derivative hormone...This hormone has side effect of irregular, scanty or profuse, spotting or absent periods. Implanon offers good contraceptive control. Hence, you have no chance of pregnancy. Please be relaxed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
