hello, I am a woman infected with chlamydia. I took the antibiotic one time dose on monday. On friday I performed oral sex on a man without protection. The infection is not in my mouth, but i m worried now that i may have given him chlamydia through saliva? I don t think there were any cuts in my mouth or on his penis. would it be possible for me to have given it to him?
As per your query usually infection like chlamydia can not be passed through saliva . But they are highly contagious and can pass through semen or vaginal . Chlamydia is a common STD( sexually transmitted disease) that can infect both men and women. Antibiotics like azithromycin and doxycycline are effective in treating chlamydia . Follow the instruction given by your doctor properly .
