General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The epidural catheter can cause osteomyelitis, especially in a diabetic patient. However, urinary catheter does not cause osteomyelitis. Once the osteomyelitis has been diagnosed, high-end antibiotics have to be stated according to pus culture reports.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
