Hello Dear,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for your query.
Understanding your concern .There are many treatment options for gap in teeth .Well orthodontic treatment (with bands and braces ) is not depend upon the age in today's advance dentistry ,but it depends upon the once condition .It means proper evaluations is very important before deciding the treatment line.
There are other options also like filling gap with composite buildup and porcelain veneers ,But you need a very skillful cosmetic dentist for these procedures .
Every procedure has its own drawbacks like
oral hygiene in case of orthodontic treatment and marginal leakage in case of bonding composite. Again choice of treatment depends upon proper evaluation of condition like how much gap is there ans what suits you the best.
You should consult the dentist and get your grinding habit(
bruxism) corrected first . Dentist may prescribe you
muscle relaxant and give you night guard which you can wear while sleeping and prevent grinding of teeth . Bruxism usually occurs due to elevated
stress level ,so try to get rid of stress . After that start treatment fo gal in your teeth.
Hope i have answered your question , If you have any further question I will be happy to help.
