Does Birth Control Cause Weight Gain ?

Ok so this guy friend and I are getting closer, and if we start to go out I want to go on birthcontrol 1.) Because lighter periods, and skin help 2.) for other obvious baby reasons. My mom would never let me, but I really would feel very comfortable if I knew I were on it. Do I have to go to the doctor and get a prescription or can I just buy it from walmart ? Also is there anything I need to know about birthcontrol? Does it cause weight gain?

Hello.welcome.you can use emergency pill which should be used within 72 hours of the intercourse.It is easily available.Nausea is the side effect.
