Does Arthritis Spots Appear On The Neck Area?

I have hard under skin spots on my neck, thinking it was my wash capsules I changed to Fairy non bio capsules. I have been told by my Dr in a letter received on Sat re:- my blood tests showing that my thyroid function results show that I am adequately replaced, your T4 level is mildly elevated.i have been under active thyroid now for many years starting with 25 mg then going up to 100 mg how can this happen when I haven t changed anything, but lately eating very little meat or none at all.I am not a huge bread person, but I am having more sweet biscuits or cakes,I just do not understand at almost 82 years of age my hormones are acting like this.I am very disabled in that I can hardly walk, never walking without a walker two sticks,as I have had 2 shoulder replacements 1 knee and 1 hip. Can the Thyroid upset water works eg:- having stronger urine,I am in control of my urine,I don t have a weak bladder. This itchy under skin spots are irritating,I have noticed arthritis spots can this happen only on the neck. Can you give me an idea,I have just purchased Eurax, which is helping a little.

Hi,

Your T4 has resulted high probably because you took the blood test within 4 hours after taking the tablet that morning. It should be taken after 4 hours or do not take the tablet that morning when you give blood for the testing. The other pathologies you mentioned are not related to thyroid.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
