Does An Iron Supplement Cause Dizziness And Nausea?
I often donate blood platelets and whole blood. I also quite often get booted from the donation center for low iron. I have been taking a supplement for about 5 weeks and am now feeling light headed, a little nauseous and again light headed or dizzy. Could these be side effects from the iron? Am I OD ing on the iron supplement?

What were you Hb count? Do you have any other symptoms like constipation or diarrhea or dark-colored stools? The symptoms you have mentioned are mostly like side effects of Iron. My suggestion is you can stop taking your iron and can take plenty of water and consult a physician.
