Does Amoxycillin Cause Rash?
I was put on a 10 day supply of Amoxycillin for a coleo-intestinal blockage. I couple days later I had an extreme rash around my anus that itched quite a bit. I used some ointment to relieve the itching. This helped. Does Amoxycillin usually cause this?

Hence your rash could be due to a fungal infection and I do not think it is due to amoxycillin.
