Can you tell me if it s a allergic reaction to it ?
hi, thank you for putting up your query on HCM. as per your history, you have acute urticaria. -- yes, for sure, urticaria may be caused by food. my treatment advise would be: 1. make a list of food, after which you get red colored lesions. 2. avoid eating sour food like lemon, tomato, sauce etc for at least 4 wks. 3. take levocetrizine twice a day for about 4 wks. 4. you may also take tab ranitidine 150 mg twice a day before food. 5. you may also apply soothing lotion such as calamine lotion twice a day. if persistent, you may consult a dermatologist nearby as you may then require a short course of corticosteroids. wishing you good health. thank you
