Does Alcohol Ingestion After Stopping Combiflam Have Any Side Effecs?
I missed combiflam 60 mg medication for 2 days; and had alcohol in these two days; since then i have been throwing up and get a feeling that my heart is pounding once in a while; nausea; vomiting Could somebody please let me know how to get over this; I resumed my medication since yesterday but nausea with light headedness still exists;
Combiflam contains both paracetamol and ibuprofen which is used to reduce pain, fever and inflammation. it is used to treat many conditions like headache, muscle pain, pain during periods, toothache and joint pain. Don't drink alcohol while using these medicines, and for at least 72 hours after you stop taking the medication. NSAIDS like ibuprofen can do some damage to the lining of the stomach resulting in ulcers and drinking alcohol may worsen this damage and even cause bleeding, nausea, vomiting etc. The person may experience from rapid heartbeat, headache due to sudden fluids with electrolytes or blood loss.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me inform if I can assist you further.
