Does Akuret 3 Cause Skin Itching And Stomach Pain?
My sister is 24 years.she is 5 foot 5 inchs,her weight is 39 kg.her x ray chest and ultrasound whole abdomen were normal.moutox test is positive,dr adviced for CT thorex and whole abdomen.on the basisof these report,dr started medication for tuburcolosis.she has taken akurit 4 for one day but she has complained skin itching,vomating sensation and stomach pain.dr adviced to take akuret 3(2 tablets befor breakfast).now iam little worried.should she take medicine or not,will medicine cause further problem.kindly suggest.thank you

Akurit is a combination of several antibiotics to allow easy treatment of TB.
It is a big pill. It has multiple chemicals in it. That alone can trigger minor stomach discomfort. And then there are many other possiilities of drug adverse reactions from it. It can cause liver irriation or damage and taht can cause nausea and feeling like one has gall bladder problems. It can have allergic reactiosn to any of the drugs in it. It can produce a yeast overgrowth in the mouth and/or digestive track and this can cause irritation.
I cannot advise, diagnose or treat wtihout seeing you , but these are some issues to consider.
