Hello, Acyclovir is prescribed for some viral infections and their frequent outbreaks. Are you taking the medicine as per your doctor s advice? or changing it or consuming it as per your requirement during outbreaks? This drug do cause dizziness as a side effect and I suggest you consult your doctor soon rather than changing the dosage or medication or stopping it completely. Because that might result in further complications. Kidneys might get affected due to this drug that why patients are advised to drink plenty of water although it depends on patient s overall condition and medicine response.
