Does A Regular Menstrual Cycle Occur During Pregnancy?

Hello. Today I had a baby scan and I am 10 weeks and 5 days. The issue I am having is that I had intercourse with two different people but there was a period in between. However it is possible to have a period while still pregnant? So I need to figure out the date the baby was made or at least the earliest possible date it will have fertilised. Can you help explain? The main thing that confuses me is how nurses say to take 2 weeks off of the babies age? How is that possible to determine the first day?

You will not have a period(menses) once you are conceived. The baby's intrauterine age is calculated from the first day of your last menstrual cycle. The month u skip your menses , brings you to the conclusion that you have conceived and reveals you the number of weeks.
