Does A High TSH Level Cause Problem During Pregnancy?

good evening doctor. My wife is 6 weeks pregnant and her thyroid result shows that TSH is 10.9 and T3 and T4 levels are normal. She was having thyroid problem before pregnancy and after taking treatment told her to stop tablets since results were normal before two months. since TSH level is high will it create any nervous disorder to baby? Doctors suggested to take tablet and in 10 days of time it will be normal. Please suggest me what to do?
